The case for short courses, taken seriously.
Most online courses are too long, too unfocused, and too forgiving. We’re trying something else.
The idea behind KeepLearning is small enough to fit on the back of an envelope: a developer should be able to sit down on a Saturday after lunch, learn one thing thoroughly, and stand up at sunset with something to show for it.
Why a reading product?
Video is a poor medium for technical content. You can’t skim it, you can’t search it, you can’t read it at your own pace, and the best parts are usually waiting behind a slow intro. A well-typeset article respects the reader.
Why exams?
Because finishing a course is what makes the learning stick. The exam isn’t a hurdle — it’s the thing that turns reading into knowledge. The badge is the receipt.
What we won’t do
- Streaks. Points. Leaderboards. None of it.
- Push notifications begging you to come back.
- Auto-playing video, mascots, or “personalized learning paths” that aren’t.
Read at your own pace. We’ll be here when you’re ready.
